Flannels 4 Heroes which was on Friday 14th June at Burton Court, raised £27,000 for the chosen charities Combat Stress, Walking with the Wounded and On Course Foundation which was thanks to our great auctioneer, Lord Archer.
Flannels 4 Heroes began three years ago and, this year SJD Events where proud to be involved with organising this great event alongside founders Tim Brocklehurst and Mowbray Jackson.
The sun shone down on us which was a blessing and everyone seemed to have a good time. From the start with a champagne reception, a lovely lunch, followed by the ‘mad hatters’ tea, ice cream from Laverstocks, the Bunga Bunga Bellini Bar and finishing up with Gourmet Burger Kitchen burgers.
For the first time some of the Chelsea Pensioners came and joined us which was lovely.
