Flannels For Heroes is back for the 2nd year and SJD Events are really pleased to be on the steering committee working alongside Wonkie Hills of Zest Events.
Flannels for Heroes raises money for The Walking Wounded, Help the Heroes and Combat Stress and last year the auction MC’d by Jeffery Archer was a huge success.
This year we are pleased to announce that they have a key sponsor in Kent & Curwen which is very exciting and the teams will all look amazing in their traditional flannels.
The event is taking place once again at Burton Court on Friday 15th June commencing at 10am.
Tickets are on sale now via the website at £20.00 for the picnic sites and, £1,500 for a table of 10 however, these are limited.
If you heard me talk about the event last year which I sponsored and was amazing, as I was totally taken by one of the wounded soldiers, Jaco van Gass. Jaco van Gass will be returning again this year to play. After last years event he did the trek across the North Pole with Prince Harry and is presently part of The Walking Wounded team climbing Mount Everest.
