Wedding Planner, Sarah Ducker on adding a statement piece of jewellery to an outfit

I recently purchased my first ‘statement’ piece of jewellery to wear for work, while attending a business meeting with Ellie Sanderson and Lynn Crean (The London Wedding Dress Finder)at Ellie Sanderson’s Bridal Boutique in Old Beaconsfield. www.elliesanderson.com.

I had seen Ellie and Sassi Holford wearing a similar piece  at Ellie’s 1st birthday celebrations for the Oxford boutique and,  I was struck by the beauty of it and thought how it would make a plain little dress come alive.

So, when visiting the bridal boutique a few months ago, I decided I would purchase one of these necklaces from her supplier, Vintage Magpie and so my statement piece was created.

Adding a statement piece of jewellery to any outfit can makes such a difference.  Whether it is the image you portray or just making something simple look elegant.     Personally, I couldn’t believe the confidence I felt when I put it on a few weeks ago for a clients wedding, it was amazing.

So, if you are looking for a ‘special’ piece for a forthcoming wedding, to lift your outfit then check out the jewellery on offer at www.elliesanderson.com .   Or, you could go direct to Magpie Vintage at www.magpievintage.co.uk but, do mention where you heard about them as you never know you might get a discount.

  1. Wowee and it looks just wonderful on you Sarah, you will have that gorgeous vintage necklace for the rest of your life. It will look amazing with a white shirt, a wedding dress in the evening or with a stunning little black cocktail dress.
So glad you like, here at Ellie Sanderson we feel sad when one of these stunning creations leaves us. At least we know its gone to a fabulous new home.
    Enjoy
