I recently picked up a really fascinating pocket booklet produced by Breast m8s in conjunction with Breast Cancer Care and just wanted to share it with you as it was one of the best I have seen.
Generally, as women we are not always good at checking our breasts ourselves and this booklet was brilliant at putting you at ease and these were just two comments that I could relate to and am sure most of you could as well.
- Breasts do change at different times in your life – when you have your period, if you have a baby and when you get older and your periods stop. So don’t panic.
- Remember breasts come in all different shapes and sizes – no one else will have breasts quite like yours.
But more importantly do we all wear the right bra, do we get regular fittings and finally do you replace your bra regularly. And, if the answer is no then invest in a professional fitting its worth it and suddenly you’ll feel better and notice your clothes hang better.
Did you know that a bra has a shelf life of +/- 6 months so don’t get too attached.
