Yesterday, Anne Diamond made the announcement that Prince William and Kate Middleton were officially engaged and that now we have the press frenzy as we await the date, the venues, the name of the appointed wedding planner, what dress designer will she appoint which is all the fun and excitement that goes with planning your wedding.
Ingrid of Majesty Magazine spoke with Anne Diamond immediately after the announcement and as she said it is wonderful news and great for Berkshire and Bucklebury where Kate’s family live.
Phil Gayle in the afternoon asked me to come on his show and share some of what planning a wedding involves for a Bride and Groom and what will be going through the heads of William and Kate. To listen to what was said click on the following link

It is hard to believe, that next year would have been the 30th anniversary of Diana and Charles Royal Wedding and it only seems like yesterday that I was lining the route to St Paul’s to catch that glance of Diana. I think it is a really nice touch of Prince William to use his late mother’s ring as the sentimental value will be huge.
I wish Kate and William fun over the next few months with the planning of their wedding and my tip to them would be, ‘remember to take a moment out of the day and look in on the occasion and your guests, as it will pass by so quickly, all the hours of planning and the day is simply over in 8 hours’.
